How much does it cost to make something?

Pricing depends on the product or container you choose. Pricing can be viewed on the website, and many jars are only available in store.

What are your candles made of?

Rocky Creek Candle Company uses natural soy wax and cotton paper wicks to provide a cleaner burn with fewer harmful chemicals in the air and less soot than many other materials.

How long does it take for my candle to be ready?

Candles take a minimum of 2 hours to be ready for pickup, and large candles may require more time depending on candle size.

Can I make the scent stronger?

No. Adding more fragrance oil can compromise the integrity of the wax and how well the candle burns, so it is not considered safe.

Can I bring my own jar or container?

No. Rocky Creek Candle Company does not allow outside containers because they cannot confirm the safety of the container or how well it handles heat.

My candle is creating soot. Is this normal?

A little soot is typical when burning anything. To reduce soot, keep the wick at about 1/4 inch, avoid drafts, and burn the candle for no more than 3 to 4 hours at a time.

Do you offer flameless fragrance options?

Yes. Rocky Creek Candle Company offers wax tarts, reed diffusers, and room sprays.

Can I have a birthday party or other event here?

Yes. Private parties are available for up to 20 people, and the entire studio is reserved for 2 and a half hours.
